Should you include plural of the chosen keywords in your keyword list? Don’t know about you but generally people do.
Whether you do or not include the plural, think of this for a moment: the searcher of the singular keyword may be different to the searcher of the plural keyword. Check if you offer products or services that meet both type of keywords.
For instance, someone who searches for ‘head ache’ probably is looking for an immediate cure for the head ache they have. The searcher of the keyword ‘head aches’ probably is a medical student or someone who is suffering from a long term head ache such as migraine.
What my dad referred to as ‘headphones’ was called ‘headset’ by my generation. The younger generation calls them ‘ear phones’. So, when you are writing for your website understand what language and what keyword(s) your visitors use so that you can appeal to them.
Keyword is your foundation for all your marketing campaigns and activities online. Choose carefully.
