If I am generating a revenue between $1m and $3m annually, in my IT network support company, I would not think that I need a coach or a consultant – “I must be doing something right to have reached this level of revenue”, right?So, I expect you to say the same thing when you read that I offer mentoring services.

Consider this:

There are books available to help, and some coaches have put together big resource libraries. But these are only valuable if we know what exactly to look for in them, and when. That’s what I can help with – providing the right help, at the right time.

I am neither a coach, nor a consultant. I am a practitioner. When I work with my mentoring clients in the IT network support companies, I provide solid guidance and advice on specific situations and issues. I work with them as a partner.

When I was in your situation, my main problems were:

  • Delivery issues getting escalated to me, and the need to “extinguish the fires” them every other day!
  • The need to spend time on staff, accounting, compliance and process issues, apart from the tickets and projects.

This is in spite of having staff and having a backend in India.

Just like you, I was their counsellor, motivator, supervisor and a shoulder to cry on.

That left me no time to develop revenue from the existing customers, or to seek new customers.

The issue is not simply knowing

  • if you should move to a Managed Services model,
  • whether you should sell Office 365,
  • or to look into the new shiny Disaster Recovery appliance.

It is knowing what to focus on in your business every day, as the situation changes and brand new issues arise, and to keep focussing on those important aspects so you can keep the existing customers, get new customers, and increase profitability.

I do charge a nominal fee, but since I, too, want to see that you grow your business, I put most of my fee at-risk.
